Méndez-Monsanto received her B.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering from University Carlos III of Madrid, Spain in July 2021. She received two M.Sc. in Telecommunications and Advanced Communication Technologies in July 2023 and is about to start her Ph.D. studies at the same university with the Department of Signal Theory and Communications.

She is involved in national and international research projects. She was a visiting scholar at ELLIIT (Excellence Center at Linköping – Lund in Information Technology) Focus Period on 6G at Lund University, Sweden, 2023. She actively participates in IEEE ComSoc and WICE and engineering dissemination activities: she was a recipient of the IEEE WICE Student Grant for IEEE Globecom 2022 and the IEEE ComSoc Pre-University STEM Hands-On Activity Contest award in 2022 together with her supervisors.

Her research interests include signal processing for wireless communications, channel estimation, phase noise, and machine learning for the physical layer.
